What to bring for a CPAP review

Bringing the complete setup helps the team understand thesituation more accurately.

Where possible, bring:

• the CPAP machine;
• power supply;
• mask and headgear;
• tubing;
• humidifier tub;
• any error message or photograph of the screen;
• and a short description of what has changed.

Useful details include:

• when the problem began;
• whether it happens every night;
• changes in noise or airflow;
• mask leakage;
• nasal or mouth dryness;
• recent replacement of parts;
• and whether the machine has been serviced before.

For therapy-related concerns, available CPAP data may alsobe reviewed alongside the patient’s experience.

Not every concern requires the same type of review. Somecan begin remotely. Others require the machine to be inspected at a branch.
